Bocui Futur: A Harmonious Blend of Ecology and Art

The inspiration behind Bocui Futur lies in the complex relationship between humans and the natural environment. Despite the destruction caused by human activities, a new balance has been created, fostering a symbiotic relationship between mankind and nature. This project aims to depict this harmonious coexistence, using nature as the starting point of the design.

What sets Bocui Futur apart from other designs is its unique approach to spatial aesthetics and multiple thinking. The design uses curves to interpret different states in the development of life, creating a natural space that is both leisurely and relaxing. This space, which is a blend of ecology and art, depicts the future life of "all things growing".

The construction of Bocui Futur was carried out with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. Environmental materials, such as environmental paint, were used as much as possible. The project, which covers an area of 1100 square meters, was completed in Chongqing, China in October 2020.

One of the challenges faced during the construction of Bocui Futur was the extensive use of curve design, which posed significant construction difficulties. However, the design team, led by Xian Li, was able to overcome this challenge, creating a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.

The design of Bocui Futur is a testament to Chao Wang's innovative approach to design. The project, which was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, is a perfect example of how design can be used to foster a harmonious relationship between humans and nature.
